Running since 1961, Monde Selection is highly valued among producers and connoisseurs of alcohol. The competition is arranged by the oldest independent organisation in the world that analyze quality of food products, including alcohol. Awards are presented to winners at an international ceremony which is considered to be one of the most significant events in the alcohol industry. At the competition held in Brussels, Żołądkowa Gorzka proved to be the unrivalled winner with a gold medal in its category. Its flavour values, aroma and colour were appreciated and rewarded by the international jury from Monde Selection Quality Institute, the organisation which is comprised of various prominent professionals. ‘It is a significant distinction for us to achieve a Gold medal from Monde Selection competition. We are very pleased especially because last year Żołądkowa Gorzka won double gold at The Central Europe Wine & Spirits Challenge 2008 Edition - Poland. Żołądkowa Gorzka is made from the infusion of herbs steeped in alcohol and the highest quality spirits. It is one of the best selling flavoured vodkas on the Polish market. There are also two flavoured variants: with mint and with honey. Czysta de Luxe, a clear vodka variant was also introduced in 2007.
